[Originality a Rhapsody．To Face the Future] Competition Guidelines

 

☆Background

Rapid development in new technology and modern living has lead to a close integration of Science & Technology products with our everyday lives. No doubt, for much of humanity this technological development brings convenience and comfort, but it is by no means the case for all. Development also initiates various social discourses, Issues such as; senior citizen's apprehension towards technology and the technology’s attrition of traditional interpersonal relationships.
The primary focus of this competition is to encourage participants to display their creative spirit, using these more humanist concerns as a starting point to create intelligent living spaces of the future, providing industry benchmarks, improving the quality of life for the end user and finally increasing the overall competitiveness of the Science & Technology industries.

☆Theme

Participant’s work must be presented in the form of an image, short film or model, one that not only displays true creative spirit, but also forward thinking application of modern technology. It is hoped that through the innovatively designed products or services, the participants are able to create a living space that embodies and satisfies the safety, health, conservation, sustainable living and the comfort demands of modern life.
